Guilford Savings Bank is a prominent financial institution in southern Connecticut. The Madison branch building is two stories and 7,300 SF. The project included stabilization, renovations, and additions to an existing colonial residence in an effort to preserve the streetscape of Madison’s historic downtown. Additions are wood-framed and are supported on shallow cast-in-place concrete foundations.
