Our Team

The biggest shift has been focusing on the output of the entire team rather than individual output. Managing the output of the team requires forming an open line of communication so that everyone on the team has a clear direction forward at all times, especially since project statuses, priorities, and deadlines are always in flux.

I felt prepared for quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC). On an individual level, I’ve been relied upon to consistently deliver an end product that clients are happy with while being responsive to client needs along the way. I want to ensure that the same level of care is provided across all projects so that client expectations are consistently met.

We are blessed with a group of talented staff engineers who are not only bright but are highly driven. We give them clear direction but also give them enough space to find solutions. And the solution may ultimately be to consult a peer to use as a sounding board and to get reassurance. I think the team is set up to collaborate and that working together is a far more efficient way to solve problems.

The biggest learning curve has been learning the strengths, weaknesses, and work styles of the team members.
