e2 engineers helps create a built environment which is safe, sustainable, affordable, and inspiring.
Scott completed the first five e2 projects from his home’s tiny hall closet. The name was developed with the help of his second son, who at 5 years old, loved the idea of a name with a number in it. when Scott suggested “e2,” thinking maybe one day his son would join the firm, he broke a precedent in the design world of naming his firm solely after himself. One of his early projects was the People’s Bank of Fairfield, CT.See BioFounding of e2 engineers
Harbour Towers dominates New London’s historic Bank Street skyline. The 9-story residential tower was e2 engineers’ first mid-rise building and the first of several significant projects responsible for revitalizing downtown New London.See ProjectNew London Harbour Towers
Chad Vogt, having a similar mindset and vision as Scott Erricson, merged his independent practice with e2 engineers in 2010. Chad brought along a wealth of new practice areas and a rare skill for managing the internal operations of a growing design firm, including developing young engineers.See BioMerger with Chad Vogt, P.E.
