Take care of yourself, the organization, the profession, and the world. Give respect, share knowledge, and work as a team. Leave it better than you found it.

Be curious, ask questions, seek answers, and learn why. We want our team to build knowledge, gain experience, exercise judgement, and learn from mistakes.

Define a problem, ask the right questions, identify and evaluate alternatives, and implement the best solution. Find the balance between creative and practical.

There are endless opportunities to learn and grow as an individual, a professional, and an organization. We strive for continuous improvement and see no limits to our capabilities.

We place employee well-being and community impact on par with client satisfaction and company profits. Our team members take pride in their work and live rich and fulfilling lives.

Firm History

e2 engineers Founded by Scott Erricson

Scott completed the first five e2 projects from his home’s tiny hall closet. The name was developed with the help of his second son, who at 5 years old, loved the idea of a name with a number in it. when Scott suggested “e2,” thinking maybe one day his son would join the firm, he broke a precedent in the design world of naming his firm solely after himself. One of his early projects was the People’s Bank of Fairfield, CT.
